Judging Criteria
All submitted projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria.
The Top X teams, as determined by this evaluation, will win Direct Entry to the Offline Hackathon.
Is the idea fresh, unique, or solving a problem in a new way?
Does it stand out from existing solutions?
How well is the project executed technically?
Functionality, code quality, and use of relevant technologies (AI, Web3, etc.)
Is the solution solving a real-world problem?
Does it have potential for scale or actual deployment?
Is the user experience smooth, intuitive, and accessible?
Visual appeal and usability count here.
Is the idea well-articulated in the demo/video?
Does the team communicate the problem, solution, and implementation clearly?
(+ up to 5% extra credit)
Use of cutting-edge tech (e.g., Generative AI, LLMs, advanced Web3)
Building for impact in local communities or underrepresented spaces

Build during the Hackathon: Projects must be created during the hackathon period to be eligible for a $300 prize pool.

Mandatory Dual Submission: To be eligible for the prize pool, you must submit your project on both this hackathon and HackQuest platform. Registration and submission on HackQuest are MANDATORY to qualify for any prizes.
Additional Prize Opportunities: Beyond the $300 prize pool for this hackathon, participants are also eligible for a $300K prize pool in the official Builders Base Camp.
