The ZuGrama Buildathon is an immersive residency program designed to help innovators, builders, scientists and entrepreneurs tackle carefully curated problem statements sourced from experts. It’s your opportunity to work on challenges and develop real solutions in a highly collaborative environment.

How Does It Work?

1. Pick a Problem Statement

Explore our list of problem statements, deliberately chosen to address meaningful challenges across governance, technological fields like Cryptography, Longevity, AI, and community building. Select the one you’re most excited to contribute to.

2. Apply on the ZuGrama HackQuest Page

Whether you already have a solution in mind or just the drive to figure things out, apply to the buildathon. Applications are evaluated based on merit and your ability to demonstrate a problem-solving mindset.

No prior solution is necessary.

Pre-existing ideas and potential solutions may prioritize your application.

3. Residency and Support

If selected, you’ll join the buildathon as part of an exclusive residency program designed for individuals ready to experiment, build, and solve problems in a startup-like environment but at the same time co-living with some of the smartest and driven people on the planet.
During your residency, you’ll:

Build and develop your project.

Participate in ZuGrama’s exclusive programming, workshops, and peer discussions.

Work closely with mentors and domain experts to refine your ideas.

4. Demo Day

Showcase your progress and pitch your solution during the ZuGrama Demo Day. Judges will assess the potential and feasibility of your project.

5. Grants and Stipends

Winning teams or individuals will receive grants and stipends to continue developing their projects beyond the buildathon.
