Key Accountabilities
● Branding Specialist's primary goal is to enhance brand visibility and recognition in the market. They focus on creating compelling brand messaging, executing impactful branding campaigns, and fostering positive brand perception among our target audience. Their efforts are aimed at increasing brand awareness, improving brand recall, and establishing a strong brand identity in the industry.
Job Description
1. Develop and implement brand strategies and positioning to effectively communicate the brand's identity, values, and key messages.
2. Establish and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistent and cohesive brand representation across all internal and external communications.
3. To develop a marketing activation calendar with key focus in the on & off trade channels with clear objectives, sound strategies and consistency in overall brand strategy (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify consumer insights, market trends, and opportunities for brand differentiation.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product development, to align brand strategies and initiatives.
6. Monitor and analyse brand performance, perception, and reputation using various metrics and feedback channels. Implement strategies to enhance brand reputation and address any negative brand sentiment or issues.
7. Manage brand partnerships and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility and reach. Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and influencers to develop strategic brand collaborations.
8. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and innovate the brand experience for customers across all touchpoints.
9. Manage the branding budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking return on investment for branding initiatives.
Other Duties
● Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in branding and marketing.
● To respond to changes in the marketing function as dictated by the Company
● To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned
Education and Experience
● Bachelor's degree graduate with 3 or more years of marketing experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate, or agency environment or exhibits strong functional skill.
● Experience in managing a portfolio of FMCG brands, products and projects
● Managed independently under challenging/demanding market environments to achieve and exceed goals
● Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
