Compliance Officer

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that the organization is in compliance with the standards and established internal controls by examining and reviewing operational systems and processes.
• Accountable in the strict execution and implementation of Pawnshop Laws and Regulationsand other Government Mandates.
• Ensures that the organization is in compliance with the standards and established internal controls by examining and reviewing operational systems and processes.
• Ensures on-time and accurate response to BSP violations, notices, and directives.
• Ensures on-time compliance on other government mandated requirements (Barangay, Municipal & BIR.)
• Maintains relationship with Account Officer, Examiners and other BSP personnel.
• Ensures that action plans are progressively implemented and monitors achievement.
• Resolves compliance issues, opportunities and problems that may arise from time to time.
• Ensures that policies, memos, and standards are communicated.
• Conducts weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and updates for the organization.
• Conducts monthly scorecard review, semi-annual performance appraisal, and annual performance appraisal on direct reports.
• Accountable in maintaining the company culture within the teammates, other departments, and with other external related entities.

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Bachelor of Science in any related field
• Minimum two years of experience as Compliance Officer
• Experience in Risk Management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Programs IE, Word, Powerpoint, & Excel
• Hardworking, dependable, people-oriented
• Self-starter with a high level of motivation
• Can deliver results even under pressure
