Senior Front End Developer

We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Front End Developer to join our growing Technology team. He/She will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ of our web applications and implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web application. He/She will also be involved in developing plans for websites and determining what types of content, such as videos or graphics, will be included.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Write code to implement visual elements into various web applications;
• Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability;
• Optimize websites and applications to ensure fast loading speeds;
• Maintain websites and implement any necessary additions or enhancements;
• Identify and troubleshoot various website issues and coding problems;
• Use a combination of markup languages to write web pages;
• Write functional requirement documents and specifications;
• Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines;
• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting;
• Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms;
• Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface;
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in a front end development role;
• Proven work experience as a Front-end developer;
• Must have experience with UI/UX development;
• Hands on experience with markup languages;
• With at least a little background/experience in back-end;
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Axios, CRA, React Router.
• Experience with user interface design.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging;
• Understanding of the entire web development process, with an emphasis on front end design and development;
• Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines;
• Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements;
• Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems;
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
