Financial Planning Analyst

Job Summary:
The Financial Planning Analyst is a pivotal role, overseeing comprehensive financial planning processes, including budget preparation, data collection, analysis, and financial information consolidation. Monitoring variances, identifying trends, and addressing budget deficiencies are key responsibilities, along with reporting significant budgeting and expenditure variances.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Program and Project Management: Creating funded programs and managing settlement processes in SAP.
- Financial Modeling: Preparing and maintaining financial models, submitting forecasts, and participating in planning discussions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitoring and reporting budgeting variances, responding to queries, and maintaining summaries of consumption.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Addressing queries, preparing reports, and maintaining consumption summaries for various departments.
- Financial Transactions: Posting transactions in SAP, reconciling intercompany transactions.
- Audit and Compliance: Preparing schedules for external auditors, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
- Process Improvement and Innovation: Identifying productivity enhancements, coordinating information requirements for process streamlining.
- Environmental and Ethical Considerations: Supporting and implementing Environmental Management Systems, adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in the same field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Proficiency in financial reporting and management accounting.
- Advanced skills in SAP and financial modeling tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office operations (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
