- The Solutions Architect ensures the successful delivery of innovative and effective IT solutions to meet the organization's needs.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of solutions architects.
- Work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for the effective management of the presales activities and support for achieving company Sales Goals.
- Implement quality assurance methodologies for the creation of correct and effective IT Solutions for customers.
- Implement continuous improvements to the pre-sales process.
- Lead the design of end-to-end and complex IT solutions that align leveraging industry practices and appropriate technologies and methodologies that align with the business goals of the customers.
- Develop architectural blueprints and technical design documents to guide solution development and implementation.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Make recommendations for technology adoption based on business requirements, industry trends, and best practices.
- Review and evaluate the designs created by the Solutions Architect team.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners, to understand their needs and requirements and ensure alignment with IT solutions architecture.
- Present and demonstrate IT solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints to define solution requirements and specifications.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions that are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to solution design and implementation.
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks and ensure project success.
- Lead the whole pre-sales process from gathering customer requirements, development of solutions, creation, and submission of proposals or other related documents.
- Ensuring compliance and alignment of solutions and products offered to project bidding requirements.
- Conducting proof of concepts and ensuring proper turnover of solutions design, its components, scope of work, and project assumptions to the implementation team.
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and best practices to maintain consistency and integrity across IT solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews and guide project teams to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines.
- Ensure that Solutions Design that include various technological components are compatible and can work as one complete solution that will address the customer’s needs.
- Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, align with the industry’s best practices, and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Coach and mentor team members, providing opportunities for professional growth and development and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Evaluate vendor products and services, negotiate contracts and licensing agreements, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of solutions for the customers.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT solutions, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
- Handle projects or other initiatives when assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in IT Architecture or similar roles, with a minimum of 5 years in IT architecture and design.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams of technical professionals.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and architecture principles and practices.
- Relevant certifications are preferred (e.g., CCNA/CCNP or equivalent, Windows Server Administration, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Sophos Architect, NSE 4, VMware, Microsoft, etc.).
- Proficiency in a wide range of technologies and platforms, including cloud computing, virtualization, networking, security, operating systems, and databases.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex systems and design innovative solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence and guide technical teams towards common goals.
