Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a reputable food service company in the country. They are seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Business Development Manager to grow the local GM (General Merchandise) accounts across Southeast Asia. You’ll lead key sales strategies, build strong customer and partner relationships, and drive business growth through new opportunities and product expansion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales and market share by expanding product usage across key accounts.
  • Build and execute strategic growth plans (SMPs) for local accounts with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead and support key sales initiatives across the region.
  • Apply value-based selling techniques and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, franchisees, and supply chain partners.
  • Strengthen and manage distribution networks.
  • Lead pricing strategy and reporting for regional accounts.
  • Stay close to customer needs and industry trends to improve our competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Engineering, Ops, etc.) to deliver results.
  • Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
  • Mentor and support the development of your team to build a strong sales culture.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (MBA a plus).
  • 12+ years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in foodservice or related industries.
  • Proven success working in fast-paced and matrixed organizations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and planning skills.
  • Comfortable with financial reporting, pricing strategy, and P&L understanding.
  • A "hunter" mindset – proactive, persistent, and goal-oriented.
