Application Lead

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Work as a Level 3 support, investigating and resolving tickets - this can include on call support.

- Work on enhancements - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

- Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in application development.

- Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Conduct regular reviews of project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.

- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance application performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Fortran programming language.

- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Open VMS, Linux, SQL.

- Strong understanding of application development life cycle and methodologies.

- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications. - Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting complex application issues.

- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.

Must have and Good to have skills: Fortran, OVMS

Number of years experiences needed: 5 years
