Freelance Software Tester (Contract – 4 Weeks)

Role Overview:

Seeking detail-oriented freelance software testers to evaluate system functionality, identify defects, and enhance overall user experience through structured testing cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute a structured 4-week testing cycle covering Functional, Edge Case, Stress, and Regression testing

Actively identify defects, usability gaps, and potential system vulnerabilities

Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and edge scenarios

Record testing sessions and document defects with clear, step-by-step reproduction steps

Provide precise reports highlighting expected vs. actual outcomes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify subtle issues

Clear and structured communication for documenting technical findings

Familiarity with screen recording and bug-reporting tools (e.g., Loom, Snagit, or similar)

Basic understanding of software testing methodologies

Good to Have:

Prior experience in software QA, UAT, or freelance testing assignments

Engagement Details:

Duration: 4-week contract (starting April 13, 2026)

Time Commitment: ~8 hours per week
