Responsibilities
Robot Framework Expertise
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Robot Framework
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining test libraries and keywords
- Experience with Robot Framework's built-in libraries (Collections, String, Date Time, etc.)
- Knowledge of custom library development using Python
- Understanding of Robot Framework's architecture and execution model
- Experience with data-driven and keyword-driven testing approaches
- Proficiency in Robot Framework reporting and logging mechanisms
Appium & Mobile Testing
- 2+ years of experience with Appium for mobile test automation
- Hands-on experience testing on Android applications
- Knowledge of Appium architecture, WebDriver protocol, and mobile-specific capabilities
- Experience with mobile device farms and simulators/emulators
- Understanding of mobile app testing challenges (network conditions, device fragmentation, etc.)
- Familiarity with mobile-specific testing patterns and best practices
Programming & Scripting
- Good Python skills (primary language for Robot Framework extensions)
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and YAML data formats
Domain Knowledge
- Telecom is preferred.
- Testing Fundamentals
- Knowledge of STLC, test case design & defect management. JIRA knowledge is advantageous.
- Knowledge of API testing and Postman
