zOS Admin

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain z/OS operating systems
• Monitor system performance and perform tuning and optimization
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and fixes
• Handle user access, security, and RACF administration
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide L2/L3 support
• Work with JCL, SDSF, TSO/ISPF for daily operations
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in z/OS system administration
• Knowledge of JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF
• Experience with RACF security management
• Familiarity with IBM utilities and mainframe tools
• Understanding of storage management (DASD, tape)
• Basic knowledge of networking and system automation
