The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile/Scrum practices and ensuring the team delivers high-quality software efficiently. This role leads Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives), removes blockers, and supports the team in achieving continuous improvement and higher Scrum maturity. The Scrum Master also collaborates closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to ensure a well-managed product backlog, clear priorities, and aligned delivery goals, while tracking team performance through Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown charts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (MBA or related postgraduate degree preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience handling complex projects and cross-functional Agile teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- With technical background or understanding of software development
- Experience in fintech or large financial institutions is an advantage
