AWS Infrastructure Engineer

I. About DevOps Engineer 

The Mid-Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer is responsible for the quality, security, and reliability of our infrastructure, acting as a critical "Launch Gate" for our deployment processes. You will be tasked with supporting system scale, establishing robust monitoring, and ensuring comprehensive data backups. This role focuses on bridging the gap between development and infrastructure to ensure high-quality product delivery and system stability.

II. Key Duties & Accountabilities

• Manage and optimize Azure Cloud infrastructure to support organizational scale and performance.
• Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform and implement best practices in IaC.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient software delivery using GitHub Actions.
• Manage and secure source control using GitHub, including repository structure, access controls, and best practices for versioning and branching strategies.
• Manage and scale containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS or EKS)
• Serve as the "Launch Gate" by enforcing strict quality, security, and reliability standards before any code deployment.
• Develop and maintain automated monitoring systems to track system health and performance metrics.
• Establish and test rigorous backup and disaster recovery protocols to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to define technical requirements and provide scalable solutions.
• Monitor and review system integrations and technical designs to manage technical risks.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and frameworks to improve overall team efficiency and product quality.

III. Minimum Hiring Requirements

• Strong technical background in Azure Cloud infrastructure, with a focus on building scalable and secure systems.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD tools, particularly in designing and maintaining pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment strategies, scaling, and cluster management.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development, including code generation, optimization, and validation.
• Solid knowledge of managing and securing source control systems, primarily using GitHub.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or in a similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Deep understanding of monitoring tools, backup strategies, and reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and business teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
