Sales Cashier
ThinkUp Management Solutions, Inc.
- Preferably with experience in cashiering, invoicing, inventory handling, or basic accounting
- Familiar with POS systems, barcode scanning, and VAT computation
- Accurate in preparing transaction reports and handling cash, petty cash, and change fund
- Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to follow company policies and approval procedures
- Willing to assist in sales functions or relieve sales personnel when required
Responsibilities
1. Invoicing
● Ensure correct presentation of computations on receipts (e.g., 12% VAT, quantity, unit price)
● Document all item movements, including free items
● Use system tools properly, including barcode scanning
● Follow invoicing procedures and secure necessary approvals
2. Inventory
● Conduct monthly physical inventory counts per head office guidelines
● Assist auditors during store audits
● Submit accurate inventory reports and reconcile discrepancies
● Receive and check inbound/outbound stock deliveries
● Monitor inventory levels and maintain organized transaction records
● Follow all inventory procedures consistently
3. Accounting
● Prepare and submit daily transaction reports
● Balance and turn over cash, petty cash, and change fund with proper acknowledgment
● Submit validated deposit slips and reports on time
● Ensure completeness of charge slips and related documents
● Maintain intact branch files and submit complete records to Accounting
● Include proper notation and attachments in Daily Transaction Reports
● Reimburse petty cash fund regularly
● Monitor store-related financial documents
● Follow all accounting policies and procedures
4. Sales Support (as needed)
● Assist in attending to customer inquiries and product recommendations
● Support sales personnel during peak hours or when relieving staff
● Help ensure store cleanliness and presentability
● Maintain professional rapport with clients and co-workers
Others:
● Ensure timely submission of correspondence to the head office and concerned departments
● Comply with HR, Accounting, and Purchasing rules and regulations
● Attend required trainings and notify concerned parties if unable to attend
● Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time
