Job Summary
We are looking for a JIRA and Service Now administrator to join our IT team and
support our cloud-based project management and service management platforms. You
will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting JIRA and Service
Now instances, as well as creating custom workflows, fields, reports, and integrations.
You will also work closely with project managers, developers, and end-users to ensure
that the platforms meet their needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles in JIRA and Service Now
- Create, modify, and optimize projects, workflows, schemes, screens, and fields in JIRA and Service Now
- Develop and maintain integrations between JIRA, Service Now, and other systems using APIs, webhooks, and script runner
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability, and perform regular backups and upgrades
- Provide technical support and training to JIRA and Service Now users, and resolve issues and requests
- Generate and analyze reports and dashboards to track project progress, service quality, and customer satisfaction
- Evaluate and implement new features, plugins, and enhancements to improve the functionality and usability of JIRA and Service Now
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a JIRA and Service Now administrator, or similar role
- Proficient in JIRA and Service Now administration, configuration, and customization
- Knowledge of JIRA and Service Now APIs, webhooks, and script runner
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
