About the Role

We’re looking for a Database Administrator and Data Maintenance

Specialist to join our team. This is a hands-on technical support and operations role focused on keeping databases healthy, integrations functioning properly, and reporting systems running reliably. A major part of the role is reducing workload on senior technical staff by independently managing day-to-day data operations and maintenance tasks.

You do not need to come from a large enterprise DBA background. What matters most is that you are practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across databases, APIs, automations, and integrations simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain database environments across client and internal systems
• Monitor data quality, identify issues, and resolve problems proactively
• Support API integrations and troubleshoot data flow issues
• Assist with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline maintenance
• Work closely with reporting and automation teams to maintain reliable and accurate data sources
• Document database structures, workflows, and known issues clearly
• Handle ad hoc data requests and maintenance tasks as required

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL skills including queries, stored procedures, and database management
• Experience administering one or more database platforms
• Working knowledge of APIs and how data moves between systems
• Experience working with SaaS platforms and third-party integrations
• Strong written communication skills for remote collaboration
• High attention to detail and dependable work ethic
• Ability to manage workload independently without constant supervision

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Power BI (reporting or data model familiarity)
• Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Make, or Zapier
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows or AI tooling
• Include the word Coco when applying
• Azure or cloud database experience
• Python scripting for automation or data tasks
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory or dbt
