Project Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Integration Engineer to

support a complex enterprise data platform focused on real-time streaming, SAP

integrations, and large-scale data processing.


This role goes beyond standard Kafka development. The ideal candidate will have

strong hands-on experience with enterprise-grade streaming architectures, Change

Data Capture (CDC), SAP-related integrations, and data quality management across

distributed systems.

  • SAP HANA
  • Change Data Capture (CDC)
  • Databricks
  • Real-time data streaming
  • Enterprise data pipelines
  • Data quality and monitoring frameworks


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize real-time data pipelines
  • Build and support streaming architectures using Apache Kafka / Confluent / Kafka
  • Support integrations between SAP systems and modern data platforms
  • Troubleshoot complex data flow, integration, and transaction processing issues
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and monitoring across pipelines
  • Collaborate with engineering, platform, and business teams within a large enterprise environment
  • Analyze and improve the scalability and performance of distributed data systems
  • Contribute to best practices around data integration, streaming, and platform reliability


Required Experience


  1. Core Technologies
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka
  • Proven experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale streaming pipelines
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Change Data Capture (CDC)
  • Experience working with distributed data processing systems
  • Experience with Databricks and modern cloud-based data platforms SAP & Data Integration
  • Experience integrating SAP environments with modern data platforms
  • Good understanding of SAP HANA and transactional data processing
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns involving SAP systems


  1. Data Engineering & Quality
  • Experience implementing data quality monitoring and validation processes
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for data inconsistencies and pipeline failures
  • Good understanding of end-to-end data flow architecture and distributed systems


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in large enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of real-time event-driven architectures
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data engineering practices
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
