Position: Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer

Jobsite: Makati City


KEY RESPOSIBILITIES

• Product and service operation, including continuous monitoring, alert handling, service implementation and continuous improvement.

• Collaboration with internal and external teams as shared owners of the infrastructure. This includes understanding the service and providing recommendations on service performance, reliability, and resiliency.


Key expectations include (but not limited to):

1. Maintain and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), focusing on Service Availability and Mean Time To Restore (MTTR).

2. Provide 24/7 operational support as part of a rotating shift team.

3. Perform continuous monitoring, execute prompt alert responses, manage service operations, and handle customer support escalations.

4. Actively contribute to key workstreams, including solutions delivery, system integration, and cross-team investigations.

5. Lead or significantly participate in continuous improvement and value creation projects.

6. Onsite work will be required.


As a team, we endeavor to provide:

1. Network Availability of 99.6% & 99.9% for unprotected & protected circuits, respectively (computed monthly)

2. Service Availability of 99.6% (computed annually)

3. Incident Report with RFO & RCA within 1 and 3 days, respectively, after resolution

4. Response Time within 15 minutes

5. Restoration Time of 4, 8 and 12 hours for Incidents with Critical, High & Medium Severity Levels, respectively


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in a Network Operations Center.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or an equivalent field.

• Proficiency in using monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Zabbix.

• Experience with ticketing systems, including ServiceNow.

• Foundational experience in basic server administration (Windows/Linux).

• Knowledge in Routing and Switching Protocols.

• Understanding of SIP and Voice Technology.
