Job description:
Primary Objective of Position: Asset Management Assistant provides administrative and logistical support to manage, track, and maintain an organization's physical or financial assets including fleet management. Key responsibilities include updating inventory databases, tagging equipment, performing physical verifications, and assisting with procurement and disposal. They ensure accuracy in fixed asset registers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Tracking and Monitoring: Maintaining and updating the asset database to record acquisitions, transfers, and disposals.
- Physical and System Audits: Conducting regular site visits, physical verification and system checks to ensure assets exist and are in good condition.
- Documentation & Reporting: Preparing purchase records, warranties, and monthly status reports for management.
- Asset Tagging: Attaching barcodes or identification labels to new equipment for easier tracking.
- Compliance Support: Ensuring all asset-related activities and fleet management adhere to company policies, internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), and government regulations.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaising with suppliers and maintenance teams to schedule repairs or manage new orders.
Fleet management: administrative control, operation, and optimization of commercial vehicles such as trucks, cars, and motorcycles-throughout their entire lifecycle to reduce costs, ensure compliance, and maximize efficiency. It involves tracking fuel usage, managing maintenance, driver behavior, and vehicle acquisition.
Working Schedule:
Monday - Saturday
8:00AM - 5:00PM
