Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and tax regulations (BIR)
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements relevant to the pharmaceutical industry

General Accounting Operations

  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

Cost & Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory accounting, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Supervise inventory valuation, expiration, and obsolescence tracking
  • Assist in cost accounting related to drug manufacturing and distribution

Taxation & Audit

  • Assist in tax planning, filing, and compliance (VAT, income tax, withholding tax)
  • Coordinate with external auditors and assist in audit requirements
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory reports

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Analyze variances and provide recommendations to management

Team Supervision

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Review team outputs and ensure adherence to deadlines
  • Promote continuous improvement in accounting processes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Preferred or Required
  • At least 5–7 years of accounting experience, with 2–3 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing industry is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and compliance
