Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Riverbed Steelhead appliances and Cisco routing/switching solutions to improve network performance and application acceleration.
- Monitor and analyze network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, and The Dude.
- Troubleshoot network issues, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve service reliability.
- Manage network-related incidents, problems, and change requests using ServiceNow (SNOW).
- Perform routine maintenance activities and participate in on-call support rotations for critical incidents (P1/P2).
- Develop and maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business and operational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in network engineering and WAN optimization.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and enterprise networking concepts.
- Experience supporting production network environments and handling critical incidents.
- Must have: Riverbed Steelhead, RiOS, Riverbed WAN Optimizer (RS WAN Optimizer), Cisco routing and switching, Network monitoring and troubleshooting
- Good to have: SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, The Dude and ServiceNow (SNOW)
