RBS Software Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to oversee the quality assurance lifecycle of our enterprise-grade systems. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and functional integrity of mission-critical platforms through a strategic combination of manual validation and automated testing using Playwright. The successful candidate will work within a structured PMO environment to ensure that software releases meet rigorous technical and compliance standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic Test Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, and smoke testing, to validate end-to-end business workflows.
Automation Development: Design, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) to increase testing efficiency and reduce manual regression cycles.
Defect Governance: Identify, document, and track software defects with high precision. Collaborate with Development and Business Analysis teams to ensure root-cause resolution before production deployment.
Release Management Support: Validate release readiness within CI/CD pipelines and perform post-deployment smoke testing to ensure environment stability.
Compliance & Standards: Adhere to established QA governance and ISO-aligned processes, ensuring all documentation supports audit requirements for public-sector and enterprise clients.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
Technical Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field.
Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Automation Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred) or similar frameworks (Selenium/Cypress).
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the SDLC, Web API testing, and modern Single Page Application (SPA) architectures.
Tooling: Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira for defect tracking and task management.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with mission-critical systems (e.g., Payroll, HRIS, or Government platforms).
Exposure to automated API testing and CI/CD integration.
ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or equivalent.
