Community Manager (AI Creators, Producers, Creatives & Filmmakers)

Overview

ReelShow is seeking a Community Manager to build, engage, and grow a thriving community of AI creators, AI producers, filmmakers, storytellers, writers, and creative professionals. This role will be responsible for fostering meaningful relationships within the community, driving engagement, facilitating collaboration, and supporting the development of a strong creator ecosystem around ReelShow's content and production initiatives.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with creator communities, understands the needs of filmmakers and content creators, and is highly proficient in managing online communities through platforms such as Discord and Facebook Groups. This individual will serve as the bridge between ReelShow and a network of creators, helping attract, retain, and activate community members.

Key Responsibilities

Community Growth & Development

• Build and grow ReelShow's community of AI creators, AI producers, filmmakers, writers, and creative professionals.
• Develop strategies to attract new members and increase community participation.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and creative collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to expand ReelShow's creator network through partnerships, referrals, and industry outreach.

Community Engagement & Management

• Manage and moderate community platforms, including Discord, Facebook Groups, and other relevant channels.
• Create and implement engagement initiatives such as discussions, challenges, contests, workshops, networking sessions, and community events.
• Respond to community inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain community guidelines and ensure positive interactions among members.

Creator Relations

• Build strong relationships with creators, producers, filmmakers, and other community stakeholders.
• Identify high-potential creators and facilitate opportunities for collaboration with ReelShow.
• Gather feedback from community members to improve community programs, creator experiences, and platform initiatives.
• Support the onboarding and integration of new creators into the community.

Content & Communications

• Create and publish community-focused content, announcements, updates, and engagement campaigns.
• Develop educational and promotional materials that encourage participation and showcase community achievements.
• Highlight creator success stories, projects, and contributions across community channels.
• Coordinate communications between ReelShow and its creator community.

Events & Programs

• Organize virtual and online events, workshops, creator meetups, and community activities.
• Support initiatives that help members improve their skills in AI-assisted content creation, filmmaking, storytelling, and production.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop programs that strengthen creator engagement and retention.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Partnerships Manager to identify, develop, and activate strategic partnerships that support community growth and creator engagement.
• Support partnership initiatives by facilitating creator participation, community activations, events, and collaborative programs.
• Help onboard partner organizations, creator groups, and industry communities into the ReelShow ecosystem.
• Provide community insights and feedback to help evaluate partnership opportunities and measure their impact.

Reporting & Insights

• Track and report community growth, engagement, retention, and participation metrics.
• Monitor community sentiment and identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Provide recommendations to improve community health, engagement, and member satisfaction.
• Maintain records of community activities, creator participation, and program outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of experience in community management, creator relations, social media management, or a related role.
• Experience working with AI creators, filmmakers, content creators, producers, storytellers, or creative communities.
• Hands-on experience using AI video generation tools (e.g., Higgsfield, Kling, Seedance, Runway, Veo, or similar platforms) for content creation, storytelling, or filmmaking workflows.
• Strong experience managing and growing Discord servers and Facebook Groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to organize events, initiatives, and engagement programs.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Experience in entertainment, media, content creation, filmmaking, or creator economy industries.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation tools and workflows.
• Experience managing online communities at scale.
• Startup experience or experience supporting rapidly growing communities.
• Background in content creation, filmmaking, production, or creative collaboration.
