Job Summary

Bernales & Associates is seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Helpdesk to join our team. This role is responsible for providing first-level technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and system-related issues. We welcome fresh graduates who are eager to learn and build a career in IT, as well as candidates with prior technical support experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related concerns.
  • Respond to and resolve IT support requests through ticketing systems, phone, email, or in-person assistance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, email, and other business software.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Monitor and update support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in user account creation, password resets, and access management.
  • Perform routine system maintenance and software updates.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and IT procedures.
  • Support IT projects, equipment deployment, and office technology initiatives as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply. Previous experience in an IT Helpdesk or Technical Support role is an advantage but not required.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or IT Service Management (ITSM) tools is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with network and system troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist users.
  • Willing to work on-site and on shifting schedules, if required.
  • A proactive team player with strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) is a plus.
  • Relevant internships, academic projects, or IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Certificate) are an advantage but not required.
