QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or any related business course.
  2. At least two (2) years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support.
  3. Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles, payroll processing, financial reporting, and government statutory compliance.
  4. Familiarity with SBMA policies, procedures, locator transactions, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly MS Excel and MS Word; experience with ERP or accounting software is an advantage.
  6. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Organized, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential financial information.
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
  10. With good moral character, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Financial Reporting & Audit Support
  2. Maintain and file accounting records systematically.
  3. Prepare a monthly summary of collections.
  4. Monitor DA Sublease requirements in support of bank loan applications.
  5. Process monetary commissions.
  6. Compute and summarize overdue accounts of locators, including applicable penalties for delayed payments.
  7. Prepare and issue financial correspondence, including letters for unpaid obligations.
  8. Participate in monthly management meetings.
  9. Prepare and release billings for rentals, management fees, and other charges.
  10. Receive payments from locators when the Accounting Officer (AO) is unavailable.
  11. Address concerns and respond to accounting-related queries.
  12. Prepare payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  13. Process 13th Month Pay, government contributions, withholding taxes, and related obligations.
  14. Review and approve requests for supplies, budget allocations, and other employee-related expenses.
  15. Encode and maintain accurate financial data in the ERP Accounting System.
  16. Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management to support ongoing operations and project objectives.
