About the Company:

Sagan represents a well-established U.S.-based plumbing and construction company committed to delivering high-quality projects through strong organization, communication, and operational excellence. The team values accountability, attention to detail, and proactive project management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating project schedules, managing budgets, maintaining project documentation, communicating with customers and subcontractors, and ensuring projects stay on track throughout every phase.

The ideal candidate has experience managing construction projects—preferably within the plumbing industry—and excels at keeping multiple moving pieces organized while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee multiple construction projects from start to finish.
  • Manage project schedules, timelines, and daily activities to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Coordinate with customers, internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors regarding project progress and scheduling.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability, ensuring budget accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare monthly pay applications and ensure all approved change orders are properly documented and billed.
  • Manage project billing and budget reporting using the company's project management systems.
  • Coordinate permitting processes, Notices of Commencement (NOCs), and project documentation.
  • Maintain accurate, organized project files and documentation within shared drives.
  • Track project performance, identifying budget variances and schedule impacts.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure labor, materials, and subcontractors are scheduled efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry (plumbing experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, billing, and cost tracking.
  • Experience preparing pay applications and managing change orders.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and Notices of Commencement (NOCs).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management software.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Previous experience in plumbing or mechanical construction.
  • Experience with project budgeting software or construction management platforms.
  • Knowledge of subcontractor management and scheduling.
  • Experience working remotely with U.S.-based construction teams.
