Financial Recruiter
WHR Global Consulting
Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Recruitment
· Proactively source and pipeline self-driven professionals, including SEC-certified traders, PRC-licensed real estate brokers, asset management consultants, and VC deal referrers.
· Utilize targeted sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, job portals, financial/investor networks, industry events, and broker associations in the Philippines.
· Conduct initial interviews and background screenings to evaluate sales track records, market network, professional licensing, and cultural alignment.
Contracting & Legal Onboarding
· Draft, negotiate, and execute Service Agreements, Consultancy Contracts, and Commission Agreements in alignment with company policies and local legal standards.
· Maintain strict contractual boundaries to enforce independent contractor status under the Philippine Civil Code—eliminating "Four-Fold Test" employer-employee reclassification risks under Philippine Labor Law.
· Execute strict compliance/KYC onboarding, verifying PRC licenses, SEC certifications, BIR registrations/TIN, NBI clearances, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) clearances.
Commission Operations & Payroll Coordination
· Oversee and verify transaction-based commission structures across various asset classes.
· Track, calculate, and process monthly/quarterly payouts, deal splits, and referral overrides based on verified closed deals.
· Coordinate with Accounting to ensure accurate expanded tax withholding calculations on professional fees and independent contractor payouts.
· Manage payout dispute resolutions and maintain audit-ready compensation logs.
Lifecycle Management & Retention
· Monitor contract expiry timelines and lead the end-to-end renewal, re-negotiation, or offboarding process.
· Conduct regular database audits to track active vs. inactive agents, maintaining database hygiene in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) / Candidate Relationship Management (CRM).
· Serve as the primary operational partner for non-employee professionals regarding contract inquiries, policy updates, and payout queries.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Compliance
· Partner closely with internal Legal, Finance, and Compliance teams to maintain standard operating procedures.
· Stay updated on Philippine regulatory updates affecting independent contractors, SEC guidelines, PRC real estate regulations, and tax rulings.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
· 3+ years of recruitment, talent acquisition, or agent/broker network management in the Philippines (prior exposure to financial services, real estate, investment management, or insurance is highly preferred).
· Strong understanding of commission structures, consultancy agreements, and PRC / SEC licensing requirements for real estate and securities practitioners.
· Familiarity with the distinction between employees and independent contractors under Philippine Labor Standards (Civil Code vs. Labor Code)
· Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
· Knowledge of venture capital, asset management, securities trading, and real estate brokerage is a plus.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
