ABOUT THE ROLE

We have partnered with a company that is a leader in the provision of Risk and Compliance Auditing and Management services to the built property sector, whose clients are some of the largest corporations in Australia. They employ a four pillars approach to risk and compliance management - Essential Services Management, Property Risk, Height Safety, and Emergency Management.

As a Finance Associate, you will play an essential role in supporting financial operations, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and effective client communication. What you'll be working on:

• Maintain a high standard of client service, especially with key accounts and clients managing multiple
• portfolios.
• Develop a strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting requirements, and internal
• procedures to effectively support compliance and operational tasks.
• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members via email, meetings, and outbound phone calls regarding financial documentation, reports, and follow-ups.
• Make outbound calls to clients to request purchase orders, confirm details for upcoming or completed
• inspections, and follow up on outstanding documentation.
• Upload received purchase orders into internal systems (e.g., BOSS).
• Review and update financial records, reports, and relevant documentation in company systems or
• platforms.
• Process financial correspondence and certifications in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify discrepancies or issues in reports and documentation, and escalate concerns to relevant stakeholders to avoid delays or non-compliance.
• Generate and share financial reports or summaries for clients, vendors, and internal teams as needed.
• Assist the finance team with data entry and other administrative duties in managing workload and meeting deadlines.
• Participate in internal and external meetings with clients, partners, and colleagues when required.

What we're looking for:

• Fresh graduates who are enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Xero or other accounting/financial software is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable engaging and communicating with people.
