About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Training Supervisor to lead and oversee training operations within a BPO healthcare/insurance environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring effective program delivery, maintaining training content, analyzing performance trends, and partnering with key stakeholders to develop training strategies that support business and quality objectives.
The ideal candidate combines strong training leadership, healthcare insurance knowledge, stakeholder management, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Delivery
- Lead, coordinate, and monitor training programs across assigned processes to ensure training objectives and delivery targets are achieved.
- Oversee training activities and ensure programs are delivered effectively and consistently.
- Monitor training effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve learning outcomes and operational performance.
Training Content Management
- Review, assess, and regularly update training materials, presentations, handouts, and instructional programs.
- Ensure training content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with current processes, policies, and business requirements.
- Recommend enhancements to training programs based on operational needs and performance results.
Training Strategy & Planning
- Analyze performance trends, quality results, and operational data to identify training gaps and opportunities.
- Develop and recommend long-term training plans aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with leadership to implement initiatives that address performance and knowledge gaps.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with department managers and business leaders to determine training scope, requirements, schedules, and priorities.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of training initiatives.
- Provide professional insights and recommendations regarding training effectiveness and business needs.
Training Logistics & Administration
- Manage training schedules and coordinate attendance requirements.
- Communicate training details and requirements to participants and stakeholders.
- Coordinate classroom setup, training resources, equipment, and other learning materials.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure training programs and materials adhere to applicable HIPAA, state, and federal regulations, as well as URAC and NCQA standards.
- Support quality and compliance initiatives through effective training and knowledge reinforcement.
- Ensure training activities are aligned with established organizational and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- At least 3–4 years of managerial experience in a BPO environment.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Healthcare or Insurance Trainer is highly preferred.
- Experience leading training teams or managing multiple training programs is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare insurance lifecycle/processes.
- Good knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding.
- Understanding of healthcare/insurance operations and related compliance requirements.

- Experience with process improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification/training is preferred.
