Remote (Philippines) · Full-time · Roughly half your workday overlapping PST business hours

You'll run social media for many client brands at the same time, and nothing will slip. If that sounds exciting rather than terrifying, keep reading.

About Us

Setsail Interactive is a B-Corp certified, full-service marketing agency based in Vancouver, Canada. We run the whole stack for our clients: paid ads, SEO and content, websites, social, email marketing, and outbound. Our clients span trades and home services, professional services, medical and dental, manufacturing, and more.

The Role

We manage social media for a growing roster of client accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. You'll be the person who makes it all run: planning each month's content, coordinating the people who film, photograph, edit, design, and write it, reviewing everything before it goes out, and publishing it on schedule.

You'll work with video editors, designers, our copywriter, and a Vancouver-based crew who shoot for our local clients. You won't create the content yourself. You'll make sure it gets made, is right, and goes out on time.

This is an execution role, not strategy or paid ads. Strategy is set with each client. Your job is turning it into a calendar and making that calendar happen, for every account.

What You'll Do

Plan

  • Turn each client's strategy into a monthly content calendar: what posts, where, and when.
  • Plan shoots for our Vancouver clients so every shoot captures what the calendar needs.
  • Stay a month ahead: know what each account needs next month before this one ends.

Coordinate production

  • Work with the team to make sure editors, designers, and shooters have what they need: shot lists, brand guidelines, assets, references, and deadlines.
  • Schedule shoots with our Vancouver crew and make sure everyone knows when, where, and what to capture.
  • For clients outside Vancouver, collect the content they send, get it ready, and schedule it ahead.
  • Track every piece of content from plan to published, and chase anything that's stuck.

Review

  • Review every video, graphic, and caption before it goes live: brand voice, spelling, accuracy, platform specs, and client requirements.
  • Give clear, specific feedback when something isn't right, and make sure it gets fixed.
  • Collect approvals from clients and account managers, and track what's still waiting.

Publish

  • Schedule and publish posts across every channel in Planable.
  • Make sure every account posts accurately and on time: no gaps, no duplicates, no post on the wrong client's page.

What Success Looks Like

  • Every account's calendar is planned a month ahead.
  • Nothing publishes without being reviewed.
  • Posts go out on schedule, every time.
  • The team always knows what's next, and you spot problems before clients do.

Must Have

  • 4+ years in social media or content project management, including at least 2 years at an agency running multiple client accounts at the same time.
  • A system. You can show us how you keep many calendars, deadlines, and people organized without anything falling through.
  • A sharp eye for copy. You catch the typo, the off-brand line, and the wrong hashtag before it posts.
  • Tool fluency: Planable or a similar social scheduling tool (Later, Hootsuite, Metricool), plus project management tools. We use ClickUp.
  • Confidence working with creatives: clear direction, clear feedback, and polite persistence.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Roughly half your workday overlapping Pacific (PST) business hours.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience filming, editing, or designing, so you know what's realistic to ask for.
  • Experience with North American small-business clients.
  • A feel for platform specs and formats across TikTok, Reels, and LinkedIn.

How to Apply

  1. Who you are, what you do now, and why this role.
  2. The most social accounts you've managed at once, and the system you used to keep them all on track.
  3. A time something went wrong on a client's social media, like a missed post, a mistake, or a stuck deliverable. What happened, and what did you change afterwards?

Applications without a video won't be reviewed.
