About YZi Labs

YZi Labs is a Web3-focused technology and investment organization working with blockchain infrastructure, decentralized applications, and emerging technologies across the digital asset ecosystem.

We are looking for a Blockchain Developer to join our technical team and contribute to the development of blockchain-based products, infrastructure, and protocols.

Role Overview

As a Blockchain Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining blockchain-related systems and applications. You will work closely with engineers, product teams, and other technical contributors to build reliable and scalable Web3 solutions.

This role is suitable for an engineer who has strong blockchain fundamentals, practical development experience, and an interest in working on early-stage Web3 technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop blockchain-based applications, protocols, and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain smart contracts and blockchain integrations.
  • Work with EVM-compatible networks and/or other blockchain ecosystems.
  • Integrate wallets, RPC providers, indexing services, oracles, and other Web3 infrastructure.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design.
  • Investigate and resolve blockchain-related technical issues.
  • Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Stay up to date with developments in blockchain technology, DeFi, smart contracts, and Web3 infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Practical experience developing blockchain applications or infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of: Solidity, Rust, Go, or TypeScript.
  • Good understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, transactions, wallets, and cryptography fundamentals.
  • Experience with EVM, smart contracts, or other major blockchain ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with Web3 libraries and development tools such as ethers.js, viem, web3.js, Foundry, Hardhat, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with APIs, RPC endpoints, databases, and backend services.
  • Strong understanding of Git and modern software development practices.
  • Ability to independently investigate technical problems and develop solutions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with DeFi protocols, DEXs, lending protocols, staking, or stablecoins.
  • Experience with Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain, or other major blockchain networks.
  • Experience writing and auditing smart contracts.
  • Knowledge of blockchain security and common smart-contract vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with MEV, account abstraction, cross-chain protocols, or blockchain infrastructure.
  • Open-source contributions or a portfolio of blockchain projects.
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup or rapidly changing Web3 environment.
