Senior Fullstack Engineer
Ascentium Talent Solutions PH Inc.
Job Summary
We are looking for senior fullstack engineers who own
systems, not just features, and who set the technical bar for a team – across
web frontend, backend/API, and mobile – in an agentic engineering environment
where AI coding agents do much of the typing and senior engineers direct,
review, and verify. At The company, a senior fullstack engineer is expected to
move confidently across the entire stack: React/TypeScript on the web, Node or
.NET on the API, React Native on mobile, and the observability, data, and CI/CD
around it all. Over this band you grow from consistent multi-team-quality
delivery (L7) to being someone the team relies on for architecture and
mentoring (L9). We're not looking for a specialist who happens to know a bit of
everything else. We're looking for engineers who genuinely enjoy the whole stack
and can be the person the team leans on regardless of which layer the hard
problem lives in this week.
Key Responsibilities
1. Systems Ownership
Own significant systems across web, API, and mobile
end-to-end – including their architecture, quality bar, and evolution
Break down loosely-scoped problems into clear, buildable
work for the team; make the call on what to build first and why
Shepherd features through to store release, not just to the
merge, when mobile is in play
Take on the hardest / riskiest work in the team when it
matters, and finish it
2. Agentic Engineering Leadership
Set the pattern for how the team uses AI agents effectively:
specifications, prompts, review discipline, evals, guardrails
Improve the team's agent workflow measurably – throughput,
defect rate, review cost – and share the wins
Own the parts of the agent workflow that are load-bearing
for quality: verification harnesses, test coverage strategy, and the
humans-in-the-loop where they matter
3. Architecture & Cross-Team Design
Shape API contracts, data models, and shared platform
concerns so that web, mobile, and other product teams can build without
stepping on each other
Represent the team in architecture discussions; write and
review ADRs; challenge decisions with evidence
Keep an eye on the seams: auth, sync, observability, feature
flags, release orchestration across web + mobile
Care about performance and cost at runtime and at scale, in
browser, server, and device
4. Quality, Security, & Reliability
Own the team's quality bar: what "done" means,
what CI must catch, what makes a release safe
Champion secure-by-default patterns across the stack – OWASP
for web/API, platform-appropriate practices for mobile
Be part of the on-call rotation for the systems you own;
treat incidents as first-class learning material, not blame
5. Coaching & Talent Growth
Deliberately coach mid and junior engineers, code review is
a teaching moment first, a gate second
Grow the fullstack range of engineers around you; a senior
fullstack engineer who leaves the team broader than they found it is doing the
job
Contribute to hiring: technical interviews, take-home
reviews, calibration
6. Product & UX Partnership
Partner with Product and Design early – shape requirements,
push back on ambiguous scope, offer credible alternatives
Bring genuine user perspective to your work; senior
engineers here don't hide behind the ticket
Qualifications
6+ years of professional software development, including
shipped and maintained production systems across multiple stacks
Real fullstack depth: strong in web (React/TypeScript),
strong in a backend (Node or .NET), and hands-on shipped experience with React
Native or equivalent mobile – or a track record of picking up whichever of
these you're weakest in fast
You've led at least one significant piece of work from
problem to production, coordinating others' contributions
Serious agentic engineering practice: not just "I use
Copilot," but a considered opinion on how to make a team of engineers +
agents deliver reliably
Fluent with testing strategy, CI/CD, observability, and
secure coding across the stack
Clear written and spoken communication; you can carry a
technical proposal to non-engineers and to a room of engineers who disagree
Highly regarded: mobile release engineering experience (App
Store / Google Play), or UX depth strong enough to co-design product surfaces
A plus: experience with connected devices, BLE, or IoT
Based near Clark, Pampanga, or willing to relocate (this is
an on-site role)
