Systems Analyst – .NET / C#

Special Instructions

• Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the required technical skills and SDLC activities.
• Must have an insurance industry background, preferably in Life and Health Insurance.
• Must have completed Agile training.
• Work Setup: Hybrid, with 3 days onsite per week.
• Must be willing to work on weekends and holidays when required by business or project needs.

Qualifications

Education

• College or university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Experience and Skills

• Background in the insurance industry, preferably in Life and Health Insurance, financial services, or banking.
• Basic systems analysis and design skills, with the ability to understand and interpret technical specifications. (Non-negotiable)
• At least 5 years of experience in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities and deliverables. (Non-negotiable)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in .NET (C#/VB.NET), VB6 programming and analysis, MS SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS), Crystal Reports, Java, and JavaScript, preferably with software testing experience. (Non-negotiable)
• Familiarity with office automation tools such as Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes. Knowledge of macro programming or report-writing tools is preferred. (Non-negotiable)
• Completed Agile training.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a client-oriented approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively with different levels of management.
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays when necessary. (Non-negotiable)



Job Description

• Analyze business requirements and identify the necessary code changes based on established design specifications.
• Develop, maintain, test, and implement program modules in accordance with system specifications.
• Identify possible system scenarios and prepare test cases for systems under development.
• Execute test plans during development and provide technical support during system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and other testing activities to ensure that system functionality meets user requirements and design specifications.
• Provide post-implementation and production support for existing systems.
• Perform implementation activities, including program promotions and system validations.
• Coordinate with business users and relevant stakeholders to clarify requirements and support the delivery of system enhancements.
