What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist. You will be responsible for developing and implementing content across various social media platforms and websites.

The bare essentials

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing

  • Solid understanding of social media publishing and analytics tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Meta Business Suite)

  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to streamline content creation and analysis

  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills

  • Basic graphic and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar)

  • Knowledge of short-form video trends and best practices

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Data-driven mindset and ability to use insights to inform strategies

  • Team player and comfortable working with remote teams and clients

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee social media content and schedules

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media practices and strategies

  • Edit and upload photos

  • Create copy for posts and blogs
