Business Development Executive

About the role

The role of a Business Development Executive in the Automotive Waste Department is instrumental in generating a consistent supply of used engine oil collected from automotive suppliers within the Ipoh area to ensure sufficient raw material for the plant in the Ipoh area.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source potential suppliers of used engine oil

• Conduct market research to identify new collection opportunities and potential areas

• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers/customers

• Prepare used oil collection analysis and reports

• Promote the company's services and values

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities

• Perform other related duties, projects and assignments as required

About you

• Minimum SPM qualification

• Experience in automotive, lubricants, used oil or petrochemical sales will be an added advantage

• Good communication skills in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken

• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable sourcing new used oil suppliers

• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Willing to travel extensively

• Must possess own transport
