Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Web3 Data Scientist to investigate nascent tokens on the Solana blockchain, identifying factors that may indicate whether a
token will perform well or poorly. This role requires an individual with high agency and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will work closely with developers and AI specialists, guiding much of the decision-making process on algorithm improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

● TokenAnalysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging tokens on the Solana blockchain to identify performance indicators and inform trading strategies.

● Collaboration: Work closely with developers and AI specialists to refine and enhance trading algorithms based on data-driven insights.

● Experimentation: Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses about token performance and trading strategies.

● DataPipeline Development: Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for collecting, processing, and analyzing blockchain data.

● Industry Research: Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the Web3 and blockchain space, particularly within the Solana ecosystem.

● Reporting: Present findings and recommendations to the team in a clear, concise manner, supporting decision-making processes.

Key Qualifications:

● Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are a plus.

● Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, preferably within the Web3 or blockchain space.

● Blockchain Expertise: Proven experience working with the Solana blockchain and its associated tools.

● Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of statistical methods, data modeling, and machine learning techniques.

● Programming: Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a solid track record of building and deploying data-driven solutions.

● Blockchain Knowledge: Familiarity with blockchain data structures, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.

● Trading Algorithms: Experience with high-frequency trading algorithms is highly desirable.
