3riKE is accelerating Africa’s transition to clean mobility by making electric vehicle ownership accessible to underserved transport workers through embedded financial infrastructure.
In many emerging markets, commercial tricycle and motorcycle drivers face significant barriers to vehicle ownership. Most rely on expensive daily rentals or informal financing arrangements that reduce their earnings and prevent them from building long-term wealth. As a result, drivers remain trapped in a cycle of dependency despite operating income-generating assets every day.
At the same time, investors have limited access to transparent, real-world investment opportunities that generate predictable returns. Most yield opportunities available in the digital asset space are tied to trading, lending, or token incentives rather than productive assets operating in the real economy.
3rike uses blockchain technology to create a transparent and verifiable ownership system for real-world mobility assets. Every vehicle can be tracked through digitally recorded agreements, payment history, and ownership progress, reducing disputes and increasing trust between drivers, investors, and platform operators.
By tokenizing the vehicles, we enable fractional ownership, allowing more investors to participate in funding income-generating assets. Blockchain also provides transparency into asset performance, revenue distribution, and ownership records, making the entire process more efficient and accessible.
Through this model, 3rike connects real-world transportation demand with digital asset ownership, creating a system where drivers can achieve vehicle ownership while investors earn returns backed by real economic activity.
If you're describing your progress during the hackathon, here's a polished version:
During the hackathon, we built 3rike from the ground up, transforming our idea into a working prototype. We focused on developing the core infrastructure for a mobility-powered real-world asset platform on Robinhood.
Our progress included implementing payment functionality, ride tracking to build driver repayment histories and support loan eligibility, identity verification for secure onboarding, and tokenization of vehicle ownership shares to enable fractional investment. We also designed the foundation for a transparent mobility ecosystem where drivers can work toward ownership while investors gain access to income-generating real-world assets.
The hackathon allowed us to validate key components of our vision and demonstrate how blockchain can power mobility, financial inclusion, and real-world asset ownership within a single platform.
