AnswerChain is a course-specific, blockchain-powered Q&A platform designed for Nigerian university students. It addresses the problem of unstructured peer learning on platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram and the lack of syllabus-aligned solutions on global Q&A forums.
AnswerChain introduces ANSWR tokens, a native currency that powers the ecosystem. Students receive a bundle of ANSWR tokens on registration and use them as fuel for engagement: asking questions, rewarding top answers, and setting bounties. In return, contributors earn tokens that can be redeemed for Solana payouts or exclusive merchandise on the platform. This creates a learn-to-earn model that is both academically impactful and financially rewarding.
Future AI integration will verify answers, summarize discussions, and personalize study support.
User Flow
Onboarding – Students register, link their Solana wallet, and receive ANSWR tokens.
Ask a Question – Posting deducts a small number of tokens, which are reserved as rewards.
Answer & Upvote – Peers answer; community upvotes determine the best responses.
Reward Distribution – The system allocates tokens to top answers.
Bounties (Optional) – Students can attach additional ANSWR tokens to attract high-quality solutions.
Redemption – Earned tokens can be withdrawn (via Solana Pay) or exchanged for platform merchandise.
System Logic
Token Initialization: Every new user receives a set amount of ANSWR tokens upon registration.
Question Posting: A posting fee (in tokens) is reserved in a “reward pool.”
Answer Evaluation: Upvotes act as a decentralized validation mechanism; smart contracts calculate token distribution based on upvote weight.
Reward Payouts: ANSWR tokens are distributed to top answers automatically.
Bounty Layer: (Optional) user-set bounties are locked in smart contracts and released to the best solution.
Merch Integration: Token balances can be used to claim real-world goods (university swag, branded merch).
