During the course of the hackathon, our team made significant strides in both development and implementation of the Axienz platform. We successfully ideated and finalized the core concept: a decentralized smart-will system focused on digital legacy and educational inheritance. Developed and deployed the initial version of the Solidity smart contract on the BNB Chain Testnet, enabling both normal and milestone-based will creation. Integrated contract functionality into a Next.js-based frontend using Ethers.js, allowing users to create wills, assign beneficiaries, and ping activity status from the dashboard. Implemented the core user flows: wallet connection, will creation, contract pinging, and claiming assets. Designed and tested milestone logic for educational achievement-based inheritance triggers. Set up environment configuration, contract verification on BSCScan, and basic deployment automation scripts. Created a responsive and intuitive UI with wallet integration to simplify user onboarding. Conducted internal testing on the BNB Chain Testnet to validate all flows and edge cases. By the end of the hackathon, we had a working MVP that allowed real users to experience on-chain inheritance planning β from fund locking to automated transfer β with full transparency and zero third-party dependency.
