Luxury Passport NFT is a hybrid AI and blockchain solution designed to address authenticity and trust issues in the secondhand luxury resale market. Users upload or capture an image of a bag, which is analyzed by an AI model to verify that it is a valid item before minting. Once approved, the item is minted as an NFT, creating a digital product passport that stores metadata such as condition, material, and ownership.
The platform uses Dash for fast and low-cost payment processing, generating a transaction ID that is linked to the NFT record stored on an EVM-compatible blockchain via a Hardhat smart contract. A marketplace interface allows users to browse and view verified items. By integrating AI validation with blockchain-backed ownership, the platform reduces counterfeit risk and enhances transparency in resale transactions.
