Building Culture is using OGChain a blockchain-based platform that brings real estate ownership fully on-chain. Built on the 0G network, the platform allows investors to buy fractional shares of real estate using OG tokens, making property investment more accessible, transparent, and liquid.
Instead of traditional real estate deals that require large capital and complex legal structures, OGChain tokenizes properties into blockchain-based share tokens. Investors can participate with smaller amounts, track ownership transparently, and trade their shares through integrated liquidity pools and market mechanisms.
The platform combines several core components: a property registry that anchors real-world assets on-chain, ERC-20 based share tokens that represent fractional ownership, compliance layers that enable restricted transfers when required, and decentralized liquidity pools that allow investors to enter or exit positions more easily than in traditional real estate markets.
Every transaction is recorded on-chain and can be verified through the blockchain explorer, providing full transparency for investors, developers, and regulators. Optional identity verification and compliance tools ensure that the platform can evolve toward real-world regulatory standards while still preserving the efficiency of decentralized infrastructure.
OGChain is designed as a testnet-ready demonstration and pilot framework for tokenized real estate. It shows how property funding, ownership tracking, staking, liquidity provisioning, and portfolio management can be integrated into a single Web3 platform.
The long-term vision is to create a global marketplace where communities can fund and own real estate together, combining the stability of property assets with the speed and transparency of blockchain technology.
During the hackathon we designed and built the first working prototype of OGChain, a platform for tokenized real estate on the 0G network. The team developed the core concept, created the smart-contract architecture for fractional property ownership, and built a functional web interface where users can browse properties, connect wallets, and simulate investing.
We also implemented key components such as a property registry, ERC-20 share tokens, investor onboarding flow (wallet → KYC → deposit → invest), and basic liquidity mechanics for secondary trading. The result is a transparent demo showing how real estate assets can be funded by a global community and settled fully on-chain.
So far pretty much completly self fundet. This progress highlights the potential of blockchain-based funding to unlock faster, borderless real estate financing while maintaining verifiable smart-contract settlement and investor transparency. The current numbers represent testnet momentum metrics for the prototype, designed to showcase the scalability of the funding model during the hackathon.
