Merchandise and event sellers need to know which order was paid, whether the amount is correct, and when they can hand over the goods. A wallet transfer alone does not enforce those checkout rules. Asking customers to create another account or obtain a separate gas token adds steps before the sale can finish.
Effisend brings order creation, payment authorization and confirmation into one checkout.
The merchant tells DeSmond, our AI assistant, “Robinhood Order 5 USD.” Effisend opens a WalletConnect QR. A customer holding USDG on Robinhood Chain connects a compatible wallet and signs one authorization—no Effisend account or ETH required.
Our relayer pays the gas. The checkout contract transfers the exact USDG amount to the merchant and records the order as paid. Existing Effisend wallet users can also access our selfie-and-PIN checkout.
Our earlier Pudgy Penguins merchandise and gachapon activation at Tokyo Dome City processed almost for 900 people at that venue at that time. These purchases gave us direct experience serving customers and operating checkout in a live venue.
