EFS v1 helps Arbitrum users discover IPFS-hosted app frontends and inspect provenance, verification status, and known limitations before launching.

EFS turns decentralized app discovery into shared, verifiable data. This prototype is an app catalog for IPFS-hosted frontends used by Arbitrum projects. Users can browse app cards, inspect provenance and verification status, and launch a pinned frontend rather than relying solely on a project’s web server. Built on Ethereum File System v1 and Ethereum Attestation Service, it demonstrates how decentralized infrastructure can support a practical app directory. Content hashes identify specific frontend versions; they do not guarantee an app’s safety.
EFS v1 existed before this hackathon. We built the new catalog interface with thumbnails, filters, and tested/limited/discovery-only labels. We implemented local-chain catalog publication and readback, proof-bound JSON export, and rejection of stale exports. Current coverage includes one tested entry, two limited entries, and three discovery-only entries.
