Description

Eventverse is a blockchain-based ticketing platform on Base, designed to eliminate fraud and inefficiencies in event ticketing. By leveraging decentralized ticket minting, QR code verification, and a secure resale marketplace, we ensure tamper-proof tickets and transparent transactions. Our AI assistant guides users through ticket purchases, wallet connections, and event creation, all within a sleek UI. Built with Solidity, React, and Web3.js, Eventverse redefines event access with speed, security, and affordability. During the hackathon, we deployed smart contracts, integrated Base for fast transactions, and launched a functional prototype—paving the way for a fraud-free ticketing future.

Progress During Hackathon

During the hackathon, the Eventverse team successfully integrated the Base blockchain for decentralized ticket minting and QR code verification. We developed a functional prototype of the resale marketplace, implemented the AI assistant’s core functionality for user guidance, and tested secure transaction flows. Key milestones achieved include setting up the smart contracts for ticket transfers and completing the frontend UI for ticket sales and event creation.

Fundraising Status

Eventverse is currently self-funded by our team, with initial development costs covered through personal contributions. We are actively seeking sponsorships and exploring grant opportunities within the Base blockchain ecosystem to scale our platform and enhance features like the AI assistant and resale marketplace. No external funding has been secured yet, but we’re in early discussions with potential Web3 investors.
