During the hackathon, our team successfully developed "Find a Friend," a platform tailored to fostering connections across various interests and activities. We focused on delivering a user-friendly interface equipped with dynamic animations and smooth scrolling effects, enhancing user engagement and aesthetic appeal. Significant features were implemented, including customizable profiles for personal expression and secure messaging for private communication. We successfully deployed the backend on the EduChain network, ensuring all interactions are secure and verifiable. Additionally, we integrated a "Start" button to simplify user onboarding and exploration. As we refined the application's functionality, we also prepared the groundwork for future enhancements such as real-time chat and advanced search filters. The platform was made accessible for local testing, promoting transparency and community feedback, which will guide further development.
