Traditional credit assessments in Vietnam are slow, opaque, and often ignore ESG factors. As a result, sustainable projects face delays and underserved sectors like agriculture are excluded. Data from Fair Finance Vietnam shows banks scored as low as 0.3 out of 10 on environmental criteria in 2020, and only 0.5 in 2022. This shows ESG integration remains extremely weak.

Our answer to these challenges is GreenCreditAI – a secure platform combining AI for ESG scoring and blockchain for transparent credit records. This enables faster, fairer evaluations, and introduces token rewards for sustainable actions. We built a simple, user-friendly dashboard to make ESG scoring, monitoring, and token redemption accessible to both banks and SMEs.

GreenCreditAI comes with seven key features:

• Secure user authentication,

• Multilingual accessibility,

• AI-based ESG calculation,

• Wallet with token transfers,

• Token-to-interest-rate exchange,

• Project approval workflow, and

• Real-time monitoring and analytics.

Our technical foundation includes React.js for the frontend, Node.js with Express and Web3.js for the backend, Scikit-learn for AI modeling, Solidity on Ethereum for blockchain, and MongoDB with Docker for data and deployment.

To conclude, GreenCreditAI directly addresses the weaknesses in Vietnam’s sustainable finance sector. By integrating AI scoring, blockchain transparency, and token incentives, we provide a practical and innovative tool for SMEs, banks, and regulators.
