Progress During Hackathon
First week: Ideation: Understood the pitch and imagined the most relevant app concept to address the problem statement effectively. Defined goals and user expectations to guide the project direction. Ecosystem discovery: Explored how to chain operations without constant revalidation, analyzed MetaMask delegation principles, and studied how to implement a similar mechanism for seamless interactions. MetaMask: Implemented authentication and delegation flow, enabling secure and smooth user transactions through MetaMask. Second week: Envio Indexer integration: Set up and configured Envio Indexer to gather and structure blockchain data efficiently. This made it easier to query, visualize, and monitor relevant on-chain activities. Hyper Sync integration: Implemented Hyper Sync to ensure real-time data synchronization between the blockchain and the application, improving responsiveness and user experience. Prototype refinement: Combined all backend components and improved the overall stability, preparing for a demonstrable MVP with working features. Third week: Data enrichment: Worked on transforming raw blockchain data into meaningful insights by adding contextual details and improving readability. Real-time data handling: Experimented with different strategies for real-time updates — caching, selective queries, and event listeners — to maintain performance efficiency. Token metadata: Integrated mechanisms to fetch and display metadata for tokens (name, symbol, image, attributes) to enhance asset representation. Efficient indexing with Hyper Index: Optimized indexing logic by identifying which transaction types and events were essential to track, minimizing unnecessary data processing. Fourth week: Frontend implementation: Developed the frontend interface, connecting it to the backend logic and data flows built during previous weeks. UX/UI improvements: Designed responsive and intuitive user flows, focusing on usability, navigation clarity, and visual consistency. Testing and debugging: Fixed functional and visual issues, adjusted interactions to match real user behaviors, and polished the final design for a smooth user experience.
