Description

Rural workers in India often face significant challenges while searching for trustworthy employment opportunities. Limited access to verified job listings, inconsistent communication channels, payment delays, and the absence of a structured dispute-resolution system make the process unreliable for both workers and employers. To address these issues, our platform provides a seamless and transparent digital solution designed specifically for rural job ecosystems.

This project connects local workers with nearby employment opportunities through verified profiles, skill-based job matching, real-time location filtering, and an integrated mediation system. Employers can easily post jobs, review worker profiles, and manage applications with confidence. Workers can search for relevant jobs, track opportunities based on distance, apply instantly, and access a support system for fair resolution of disputes.

By combining user-friendly design, data-driven matching, and trust-building mechanisms, the platform aims to empower rural communities, improve economic participation, and create a reliable bridge between workers and employers.

Progress During Hackathon

During the hackathon, our team made substantial progress across design, development, and feature implementation. We began by refining the core problem statement and mapping the workflow between workers, employers, and mediators. A complete UI/UX layout was designed to ensure simplicity and accessibility for rural users. On the development side, we implemented the landing page, job listing interface, and search and filtering features using React. Real-time filtering based on skills, keywords, and location radius was integrated to improve user experience. We also created dynamic components for job cards, statistics, and feature highlights to ensure modularity and scalability.

Fundraising Status

Our project is currently in the early development stage, and we are actively exploring opportunities for financial support to accelerate growth. Initial discussions with potential sponsors and institutional partners have begun, and we are in the process of preparing a detailed proposal outlining our product roadmap, technical architecture, and expected impact. As of now, the team is finalizing the budget requirements for infrastructure, security compliance, and deployment scalability. Once completed, we will initiate formal outreach to relevant funding bodies, including innovation grants, corporate CSR programs, and startup incubation cells. We anticipate securing preliminary funding in the upcoming phase to support further prototyping, user testing, and system enhancements.
