Description
The project aims to create an AI system that simulates the personality, decision-making patterns, communication style, and technical expertise of Linus Torvalds, the creator of the Linux kernel and Git. The AI will assist learners, researchers, and students learn open-source software, system development, and version control systems. The primary objective is to develop a virtual entity that can interact with humans in a manner similar to how Linus Torvalds might, given his extensive knowledge and experience act to the given quest.
The AI will simulate Linus Torvalds' communication style, known for being direct, sometimes harsh, yet insightful and sharp. This includes his candid, no-nonsense approach to software development, critique of code, and strong opinions on technical matters.
The AI will use varying levels of intensity in discussions, from terse feedback on poor coding practices to enthusiastic engagement with well-executed solutions, resembling Torvalds’ real-world behavior.
Progress During Hackathon
After the installation of gaianet node, I gathered relevant data about Linus Torvalds from various interviews and created an RAG model which was further integrated into the custom gaianet node and deployed.
